BETTAVARO BUYER KNOWLEDGE

How Bettavaro Buyer Protection Works

Bettavaro supports a more accountable marketplace through seller application review, responsible fish care expectations, order and marketplace records, official issue reporting, and verified-buyer reviews. Protection is subject to the terms and evidence that apply to each order.

Application review

Verified Betta Breeders

Bettavaro’s seller application collects required identity information, farm name, farm address and operating contact details. Administrators can review the application before a seller is approved.

Applicants may also provide a government farmer certificate as optional supporting evidence. Because this document is not mandatory in every application, verification means that submitted application information has been reviewed; it does not mean that Bettavaro or a government agency guarantees the quality of every fish.

Seller responsibility

Care from Order to Delivery

Bettavaro sellers are expected to assist buyers during the purchase process and provide appropriate care for ordered fish while the fish remains under the seller’s responsibility.

  • Communicate about the order and available shipping arrangement.
  • Continue appropriate fish care while shipment is being prepared.
  • Prepare and package the fish for the agreed handoff.
  • Coordinate transfer to the buyer or designated delivery representative.

International transport may involve a trans-shipper or other carrier. The seller does not control every stage after the fish has been transferred.

Issue reporting

Support When a Fish Arrives with a Problem

If a fish arrives with a health concern that may relate to its condition before shipment or the shipping journey, document the issue and contact the seller or Bettavaro promptly. The case can then be reviewed under the seller terms, live-arrival terms and published Bettavaro policies that apply.

  • For a possible DOA claim, keep the original fish bag sealed.
  • Take clear photos and, when possible, a continuous video.
  • Preserve delivery, tracking and packaging information.
  • Provide the order reference and relevant evidence.
  • Use the official contact channel as soon as possible.

Feedback and accountability

Buyer Support and Seller Evaluation

Buyers who experience a problem can contact Bettavaro through the official contact page. A report may be reviewed together with the order, listing, relevant messages and evidence supplied by the buyer.

Eligible buyers can leave a 1–5 star rating, optional title and required written comment for a qualifying order item after its fulfillment status is completed. The resulting verified-buyer review is associated with the listing and contributes to recorded seller reputation information.

The current review form does not collect separate ratings for packaging, communication or shipping. Those topics may be discussed in the written review, but they are not independent rating fields.

  • Submit accurate information and supporting evidence.

Important clarification

Buyer Protection Is Not an Unconditional Guarantee

Buyer Protection does not replace the shipping, live-arrival, refund or claim terms that apply to an order. Eligibility and available resolutions depend on the listing, seller terms, destination, shipping method, evidence provided and applicable Bettavaro policies. Approved DOA claims usually concern the affected fish price; shipping and external fees are generally not refundable under the current published policy.

FAQ

Buyer Protection Questions

How does Bettavaro verify sellers?

Bettavaro reviews seller applications, required identity documentation, farm details and other submitted information. A government farmer certificate may be supplied as optional supporting evidence; it is not required in every application.

Does Buyer Protection guarantee that every fish will arrive alive?

No. Buyer Protection is not an unconditional live-arrival guarantee. Shipping conditions, evidence requirements, seller terms and Bettavaro’s published policies determine whether a case is eligible for review.

What should I do if my fish arrives with a health problem?

Document the condition promptly. For a possible DOA claim, keep the original bag sealed, take clear photos or video showing the fish, bag and delivery information, and contact the seller or Bettavaro through the official support channel.

Can I report a problem with a seller?

Yes. Use Bettavaro’s contact page and provide accurate order information, relevant messages and supporting evidence. The available response depends on the facts and applicable policies.

How are sellers evaluated?

The system records verified-buyer ratings and written reviews for qualifying completed order items. Bettavaro also maintains seller, listing, order and refund records that authorized administrators may review when appropriate.

Does Buyer Protection cover international shipping fees?

Not automatically. The published DOA policy states that approved claims usually concern the affected fish price and that shipping and external fees are generally not refundable. Review the policy that applies to your order.

Who reviews a buyer complaint?

The seller may first review an order concern. Bettavaro administrators or support staff may also review relevant order, listing, communication and evidence records when assistance is requested.

What evidence should I keep after receiving my order?

Keep the order reference, delivery and tracking information, relevant messages, packaging details and clear photos or video. Follow the published DOA procedure when a live-arrival claim may apply.
