Application approval

What Is a Bettavaro Verified Seller?

A verified seller is an applicant approved through Bettavaro’s seller review process based on the information and evidence available at the time. The process is intended to improve marketplace transparency and give buyers more useful seller context.

Bettavaro verification is not a government certification, does not mean every farm has received an in-person inspection and does not guarantee every transaction, fish condition or future seller action.

Review considerations

Five Areas That May Strengthen an Application

These considerations describe what Bettavaro values. The current application form does not technically validate every practice listed below, and no single factor guarantees approval.

Betta Experience

Practical experience breeding, keeping, caring for and preparing betta fish. The current form does not enforce a five-year minimum.

Honesty and Responsibility

Accurate information, clear buyer communication, responsible fulfilment and cooperation during issue review.

Supporting Documents

Government-issued farmer or farm documents may strengthen an application, but are not government endorsement by Bettavaro.

Fish Availability

Listings should reflect fish genuinely available from the seller, especially varieties in which the seller specializes.

Clean Farm Conditions

Clean facilities, responsible water management and measures designed to reduce the risk of disease transmission.

Professional practice

Experience, Accuracy and Seller Responsibility

Practical Betta Knowledge

Relevant experience may include breeding, routine care, health observation, selection, variety knowledge and preparing fish for sale or transport. Five or more years may strengthen an application, but the current website form does not enforce that duration as a mandatory threshold.

Sellers should understand the varieties they offer and avoid claiming expertise that cannot be supported by their actual practice.

Honest Marketplace Conduct

  • Use accurate fish photographs and descriptions.
  • Describe variety, sex, visible condition and other material details honestly.
  • Communicate respectfully and promptly.
  • Fulfil accepted orders responsibly.
  • Cooperate when Bettavaro reviews an order concern.

Supporting evidence

Documents Used in the Current Application

The current seller form requires identity information and an ID card image. It also accepts a farm logo, government farmer certificate and bank book image with the optionality described on the live form.

A government farmer certificate is optional. It may add context to an application, but it does not make Bettavaro verification a government certification. Never publish private identity, banking or certificate data on a public seller page.

Follow the live application form

  • ID card number and image: required in the current form.
  • Government farmer certificate: optional.
  • Bank book image: optional but recommended.

Prepared operations

Fish Availability and Responsible Farm Conditions

Reliable Availability

Maintain listings that correspond to actual fish availability. Focus on varieties you understand and can supply responsibly. Bettavaro does not publish a minimum stock quantity in the current application.

Health and Hygiene Practices

Keep breeding and holding areas, containers and equipment clean; manage water responsibly; observe or separate unhealthy fish; reduce disease-transmission risk; and prepare fish safely before transport. These practices do not establish a disease-free guarantee or laboratory certification.
